Pattern: Verb + Infinitive Conversation Questions
When some verbs are followed by a verb, we use the infinitive form (to ~).
Try to answer each question using the verb in bold followed by the infinitive form of another verb.
Then try to continue each conversation naturally.
Discussion Questions:
- Have you decided what to do this weekend?
- How much would you offer to pay me to sing for you?
- Would you agree or refuse to bungy jump if I paid for it?
- What are you planning to do next year?
- Most people can’t afford to do what?
- Someone threatened to hurt me! What should I do?
- What do you need to do to get better at English?
- Have you gone on vacation and realized that you failed to bring something important? What was it?
- What did you forget to do recently?
- What would you like to learn to do?
- What do you tend to do when you are hungry?
- It could be fun to pretend to be someone else. Who would you pretend to be?
- Can you promise to always be honest?
- What would you expect to see if you went to New York City?
- What is something that you hope to do in your life?
